Here we are…sitting amidst a Wisconsin winter. I suppose one could say that it has been relatively mild in general (if you exclude what is predicted in tomorrows forecast, lol!) But really, you all know what I mean. The cold gray skies seem to be a daily view from your window. With every day that passes you anxiously await the first signs of spring. And who doesn’t love spring, right? Well, who doesn’t love WINTER??? (no, that was not a joke.)
Okay, before you start to bash winter, and all the lovely “white stuff” we’ve learned to contend with, look at it this way:
Winter is a great time to regroup! That is right, I said regroup. So what does that exactly mean? It means now that the craziness of the holidays have passed, the next few months offer us all time to focus on things perhaps we did not have the chance to earlier. Yet winter seems to get a bad rap.
For instance, this winter we did a little remodeling of our Luxemburg Harmann Studio location. For those that came to visit us after the holidays, they were greeted to a new floor plan, paint color and reconfiguration of our studio! You would be surprised how many faces perked up as they walked into the “new look!” Funny what getting out of the cold and stepping into a little “wow” can do to a persons attitude! Something so simple as COLOR can change a persons mood! We’ve received many wonderful comments on the new look… and guess what?…WINTER was exactly the right time to work on the update! We are excited about our new look in Luxemburg and encourage you to stop by and take a look for yourself.
Here’s another example…so how about that session you have been thinking of, but just could not seem to fit into your schedule during the holidays? Perhaps now is the time to schedule it! Winter!
